Bachelorette Jen Schefft Ties the Knot in Chicago

Former Bachelorette star Jen Schefft is officially a bachelorette no more.

She and fiancé Joe Waterman were married at the Private Dining Rooms of Spiaggia in Chicago Friday night, according to a spokesperson for the restaurant.

"She looked beautiful," said a guest who attended the wedding, held in a room overlooking Lake Michigan. "It was a very small wedding but very fun."

Waterman's sister and his best man offered toasts the couple. "Joe's sister cried giving her speech," said the guest, "but that was it for the crying."

Then, it was party time. After a late dinner served shortly after 10 p.m. – the menu offered beef, chicken, pulled pork and pasta, followed by cake – guests enjoyed themselves on the dance floor as a deejay provided the music.

"We didn't hit up the dance floor until later and we were all on it past midnight," said the guest.

Schefft, 32, and Waterman, 35, met on a blind date in February 2008. "We really get each other," she told PEOPLE last year after getting engaged. "I guess it's true things move fast when you meet the right person."
